For the third year in a row, thousands of foreign visitors arrive for the Ziyarat Arba'een after the twentieth Safar.

Although they did not arrive on time for the Ziyarat Arba'een because of circumstances beyond their control, large numbers of visitors, mostly from Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and a number of other Asian and European countries as well as Lebanon and Syria, insisted on coming to Karbala to perform the rituals of the Ziyarat that they could not perform on the 20th Safar, either because of the bad weather conditions, or because of the delay in obtaining entry permits to Iraq, and this situation was repeated for the third year in a row.

When they arrived to Karbala, the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine provided them with everything they needed to facilitate their stay in order to perform their Ziyarat. The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has prepared the basements of the holy sanctuary with thousands of mattresses and blankets to accommodate them. Also, the host of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) provided these large numbers of visitors of Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) with food. As for their entry and exit to and from the holy sanctuary, the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized their movement so they can perform their rituals with ease.
