An important clarification: Al-Kafeel Hospital confirms that it is open to all Iraqis and that it treated many cases sent to it, whether from demonstrators or security forces.

The Al-Kafeel Super speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine issued a clarification in response to rumors in some social media pages and websites, stating:

The al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital has opened its doors since the beginning of the demonstrations in Iraq, and began to receive the casualties who fall during the demonstrations, civilians or members of the security forces and the army. We show that the hospital is keen to have an active role in this circumstance experiences by our dear country, and to provide all medical and therapeutic services within the available medical specialties free of charge, as was its role in all events witnessed in the province of Karbala; most recently the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

We assure all Iraqis that Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital will remain a national project, and will not shirk its role in serving the Sons of Iraq in difficult situations and new events.

It is noteworthy that rumors on social networking sites state that the al-Kafeel hospital apologized for receiving the wounded in the demonstrations.
