Al-Kafeel Nurseries Group launches a campaign to rehabilitate, prune and form trees in the holy city of Karbala.

The project of afforestation of streets and roads of the holy city of Karbala is one of the projects adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and is still ongoing for the purpose of completing the afforestation of all the streets and squares by the al-Kafeel Nurseries Group, which continues to sustain this project in terms of watering and replacing the damaged trees, in addition to using pesticides, repairing their own incubators and other works, including seasoning and pruning.

The al-Kafeel Nurseries Group has also conducted works of rehabilitation and pruning of trees planted on both sides of the old city roads and the main streets in the holy city of Karbala in addition to the squares and the roundabouts, which were previously planted within the afforestation project adopted by the holy shrine.

The campaign is seasonal as some trees were damaged during the Ziyarat season in the months of Muharram and Safar. Thus in order to maintain its greenness and freshness, the staff of the al-Kafeel Nurseries Group conducted many works such as:

- Pruning trees with beautiful patterns and art forms suitable for winter.

- Remove damaged trees and replace them with other trees of the same family.

- Rehabilitation of places for planting trees, cleaning and re-arrangement.

- Fertilizing the floor of these trees.

- Carry out an inventory of the need of the rest of the streets from trees to begin planting them.

It is noteworthy that this campaign is part of the project of the al-Kafeel Nurseries Group of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for the planting of the holy city of Karbala, to contribute to beautify the city of the master of martyrs (peace be upon him) in line with its holy place in the hearts of believers to serve its residents and visitors. And all trees, ornamental seedlings and flowers included in these works are produced by the Nurseries Group.
