To open up horizons of cooperation and joint action: A delegation of students of the Hawza in Najaf was hosted by the Department of Islamic Knowledge and Humanities Affairs.

A number of students of the Hawza in Najaf visited the Islamic and Humanities Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in order to get acquainted with the activities of the Department on the one hand, and on the other hand to discuss ways and frameworks to open horizons for cooperation and joint work between the two sides in the investigation of manuscript heritage.

The delegation was received by the head of the department, Sheikh Ammar Hilali, who briefed the visiting delegation on the nature of the investigative projects and indexes issued by the department, as well as magazines, periodicals, encyclopaedias, cultural, intellectual and heritage series, expressing readiness to work jointly in order to preserve the heritage of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), emphasizing the importance of concerted efforts and continued visits on the development of work in all aspects related to heritage and manuscript investigation.

For their part, the guests praised the great efforts exerted by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, represented by the Department of Islamic Knowledge and Humanities Affairs in the preservation and documentation of Islamic heritage, through the issuance of books on the history and heritage of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), through conferences, seminars, heritage exhibitions and other various activities held by the department In the holy city of Karbala and outside it, they expressed their readiness to cooperate in all fields that will preserve and document the heritage of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and our scholars. At the end of the meeting, the head of the Department has given the guests a set of variety of publications of the Department.
