The al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine send a support convoy to the protesters in Tahrir Square in Baghdad.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy Shrine has sent a new convoy of logistical support to Tahrir Square in Baghdad, in support of peaceful protests guaranteed by the Iraqi Constitution and supported by the supreme religious authority, demanding reform, and a decent and free life.

The convoy was sent for the third time and included logistical support, including the provision of clean water, food and other items distributed in tents and marquees in Tahrir Square, the centre of the protests, where protesters gather since October 25th.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the demonstrations in Iraq, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has supported the gathering places of the demonstrations with logistical items in the city of Karbala and Baghdad, and most recently the Al Kafeel hospital affiliated with the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine sent a medical team and therapeutic assistance to carry out examinations for injured protesters in Dhi Qar province.
