Iraqi engineering and artistic staffs reach the final stages in the redevelopment and gilding of Iwan Qibla of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The engineering and artistic staffs in the engineering projects division of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continued their work in re-gilding the Qibla Iwan (Tarmat al-Dahab) with a developed design, by adding golden decorations and the use of blue enamel material and Qur'anic battalions, in cooperation with the Iraqi Ard al-Quds Company.
The head of the aforementioned Department, Eng. Diaa Majeed Al-Sa'egh, explained to the al-Kafeel Network: “The staffs of the Holy Shrine put their experiences in this project until it appeared in its new stage and reached its final stages.”
He explained: "Traditional art, such as mosaic art, has been mixed in this field with modernity. And upon completion of the project, the Iwan will have its new and distinctive look, and at that time the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) will add a local architectural fingerprint that will be added to the local arts in this holy shrine."
It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine works to value the local product and estimate the national workforce, in order to improve the professional and economic realities and invest the self-energies.
