The Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine received the Association of the Army's Injured and urged them to document their heroism.

The Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, met today (Friday, 5th Jumada II 1441 AH) corresponding to (January 31, 2020), a number of members of the Association of the Wounded Heroes of the Iraqi Army, after being honored by visiting the Shrine of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (Peace be upon him).

His Eminence, during the meeting, affirmed the support of the Holy Shrine with their requirements, the most important of their needs and cooperation with them, and also urged them to transcribe and document all their actions and heroism in their epic against ISIS, for the purpose of including it in the Encyclopedia of Holy Fatwa of Defense issued by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, to document their heroism in the liberation saga of the Iraqi land from the desecration of the criminal ISIS gangs.

For his part, the head of the Iraqi Army’s Injured Association, Mr. Miqdam Rahim, said: “Today we have had the honor of visiting the shrines of Imam Al-Hussain and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon them both). And we met with the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in order to present some of the problems we suffer from as wounded, and we showed him a summary of this association and the work it does to serve the wounded of the army, the police and the popular mobilization."

He added, "The Association is comprising 63 thousands of wounded people from the army, the police and the popular mobilization from the various governorates of Iraq. Its purpose is to focus on serving the wounded of the Iraqi army in all their forms. And the reasons that led to the formation of the association is the need of the wounded to have a representation that speaks about their sufferings. "
