Condolences Council to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The echoes of the sad martyrdom anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Messenger; Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), are still continuing, as the Holy Qur’an Institute of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized through its branch in the province of Najaf, a solemn assembly devoted to this sad occasion, in the presence of a group of the believers.

The council, which was hosted by the institute's branch hall, was opened with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a valuable lecture by His Eminence Sayed. Ahmed Al-Ashkoori, in which he talked about important matters related to society and belief, also indicating that az-Zahra (peace be upon her) was a martyr, and she had been martyred to defend a clear goal that the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) showed on Ghadir day.

The council concluded with a condolence elegy of the preacher Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dujaili, who read his poems about the calamities of az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and the plight of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), taking the hearts towards the symbol of loyalty and the door of needs; Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
