Strengthening and developing the walls, floor and roof of the basement of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon him.

Because of the height of the walls of the basement, which dates back several centuries; and because of the high level of water inside it, a large part of those walls and roofs cracked and there was fear of refraction that may occur if the roof and its retaining walls are not treated in a timely manner. And to direct the flowing water (groundwater) from the walls and floor of the basement in the pipes instead of dispersing, thus causing moisture and weakening of the walls of the shrine ... For all this, it was necessary that the management of the shrine to set up a project to protect these walls, by strengthening the walls, ceiling and ground of the basement, so that the basement appears in a better shape in general to fit the spatial proximity of the shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas peace be upon him.
