The conclusion of the First Conference of the Mobilization [Hashd] of the Holy Shrines.

The first Conference of the Mobilization [Hashd] of the Holy Shrines was concluded this afternoon, Thursday (17 Rabi 'Thani 1442 AH) corresponding to (December 3, 2020), in the hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for conferences and meetings at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. This conference that lasted for three days was held under the slogan: (the Hashd of the Shrines, Incubator of Fatwa and State Builders), by the leaders of the Squad of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the Brigade of Ali Akbar (peace be upon him), the al-Abbas (peace be upon him) Fighting Squad and the Ansar al-Marji'iyah Brigade.

Its activities included the organization of security, administrative, financial, intelligence and organizational workshops, as well as coordination and discussion workshops.

The closing ceremony witnessed a wide presence of religious, community and security personalities, as well as representatives of the security ministries and representatives of the holy shrines, with extensive media coverage.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter Faisal Al Sharifi, after which the national anthem was played. Then the presence stood to read Surat Al-Fatiha in tribute to the martyrs of Iraq, followed by a welcoming speech by the General Secretariat of the Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, delivered by the acting head of its Department of Sustainable Development; Dr. Mohammad Jaber, who highlighted the importance of the fatwa of the Supreme Religious Authority in achieving victory.

This was followed by the speech of the governor of the holy city of Karbala, Mr. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, in which he stated: “We see the holy shrines work in all historical stages in a complementary state with the state, and are established and rooted to be a basic pillar not only for preserving the state but also for building it, and building its general foundations ..”

To conclude the activities, with a video presentation of the conference’s activities, then reading the recommendations and suggestions of the conference, delivered by the head of the Media Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Professor Mushtaq Abbas Maan.
