The project of gilding the dome and minarets of the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).

In the framework of technical cooperation between the holy shrines, the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine agreed with Imam Ali's (p) holy shrine to re-gold all the golden parts of the building of the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him) in Najaf from the dome and the two minarets and the main Iwan [Taremah], and this time it is an Iraqi entity that will ensure to carry out the gilding works in the shrine of the Commander of the faithful (peace be upon him). This comes after the success achieved in the gilding works of the minarets of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas peace be upon him, and the minarets of the shrine of Sayyid Mohamad son of Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon him). After having acquired sufficient expertise in this field, which has become similar to but surpassing similar works executed by foreign labor. The Department of engineering projects at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is seeking to implement similar projects in the rest of the holy shrines and Maqam in Iraq and continues to provide the best services within its plan to support the development of scientific and global development.
